Hello, my name is Cyrussia House. I am a junior at Pittsburg State University, studying fashion merchandising and commercial art. I enjoy being involved with anything that has to do with fashion, makeup, photography, and of course, writing. This time of year is my favorite time of year. There is hot coco, cuddling under warm blankets, and snow falling.
During this time, many changes around us start to happen. The leaves change colors, it becomes cold, and your wardrobe changes to jeans and boots. Then the biggest change of all is that it becomes the new year. This is the time when everyone starts creating resolutions that they want to work towards for the next year. My resolution is to stay true to my style but enjoy trying more upcoming trends. My current style includes simplicity with statement pieces. My go-to outfit is a white crop top and dark denim skinny jeans. To make a statement, I like to add ankle boot wedges, rose gold choker, and dark blue quilted jacket with gold accents. And let’s not forget the cold artic wind that has been dropping down during this time makes it essential to add a pom beanie.
This outfit is perfect to throw on for a day to run errands, or get glamour with the hair and makeup to go out to dinner with friends. Either way you wear this outfit, you will be ready for anything that comes your way. I am so excited to be a part of CollegeFashionista team this year. And I can’t wait to learn about everyone else’s resolution for 2017.
