Hello and welcome, my rad Fashionista/os! As you may know, my name is Dalena Tran and I could not be more excited to become a Style Guru this summer. I’m a busy bee but I love it! In my free time this summer, you’ll catch me buying flowers at the farmer’s market, doing headstands outside on my yoga mat and exploring new cities! Style-wise, you’ll see me sporting sundresses, jumpers and all things flowy.
To me, fashion is another form of art, an amazing way to express who you are and what you love. Ever since I was young, I was always fascinated with style spotting. My favorite activity was being at the airport waiting to board the plane and watching people pass by. Everyone was coming from a different part of the world and all had their own unique styles. Their clothes told a story that I could only imagine.
I don’t have a defined style as my style is ever-changing but I do try to keep my outfits minimal. Less is more. You don’t need a lot to have a standout outfit. Let those details and statement pieces speak for you! Use them to bring your outfit to life. Don’t be afraid to try new things. I love playing around with different cuts, textures, prints and colors. Those little details are everything and are the perfect way to complete or start your ensemble.
This look is all about style and comfort. The little details like the hardware on the overalls bring out the silver in the sunnies and Apple watch. The slight off-the-shoulder top elongates the neck to make the scarf stand out. The neck scarf adds a pop of color and is the perfect pattern as we head into summer. Top this outfit off with cut-out booties, it’s the perfect casual-cool look!
