Hello all! My name is Danielle Pieratt and I am currently a junior at Ball State University. CHIRP, CHIRP! I recently changed my major to Public Relations with a minor in Fashion and Marketing. For me, Public Relations provides endless opportunities and possibilities. This is my first semester with CollegeFashionista and I am so excited to start this new adventure.
I am extremely passionate about fashion. I have always been known as the Fashionista in my family, so this is such a wonderful opportunity for me. I became inspired after watching a documentary on Coco Chanel, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I pride myself on florals and love mixing it up. With fashion I become more of who I am. It was Coco Chanel who said, “Every day is a fashion show and the world is your runway.” I try to live by that.
My inspirations vary from Kim Kardashian to Olivia Palermo. I believe that I can be inspired by even the smallest things. Some of my favorite brands are Chanel, Givenchy and Ralph Lauren. Lately, I have been obsessed with rompers and I’ve gone a little crazy with them. I love pairing my rompers with a cardigan and some booties for a nice transition into fall.
I am so excited for this new opportunity writing for CollegeFashionista. I hope to continue to grow and learn something new everyday from this. I can’t wait for you all to read and watch me grow as a writer! Remember, the world is your runway. Work it!
