Hello Fashionistos and Fashionistas! My name is Danyelle Frischman, and I will be a sophomore this fall at Penn State University, where I am majoring in Print Journalism. My dream is to one day live in a fashion capital and spend my working days reporting the latest fashion trends for a magazine corporation. I am so excited to share the styles I love as a CollegeFashionista Style Guru intern this semester!
For as long as I can remember, I have been spending my summers on the beaches and streets of Los Angeles. I am from Pennsylvania, but California is a second home to me. And I would be completely lying if I said it didn’t have a huge impact on my style. The Los Angeles vibes definitely show through my outfits. My style is very laid back and casual with a bohemian twist, and I feel that represents my persona perfectly. You would probably see me around campus wearing a white tee, boyfriend denim shorts and lace up sandals at least once every week.
What I love about fashion is that there are no rules. Rachel Zoe once said, “ Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak.” I believe style is an expression of yourself, and there are endless possibilities. I wanted to create a place where I can combine my love of writing with my passion for fashion, which led me to start my blog. Blogging gives me the opportunity to create, write and share my twist on current trends with the world.
