Hey guys! My name is Devon, but most people call me Dev. I am writing to you from Cincinnati, Ohio, where I was born and raised. I am currently a senior at The Art Institute of Ohio–Cincinnati where I study fashion marketing and management. With my degree I hope to continue my work as a corporate Visual Merchandiser. This is my very first semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista and can I just sat that I am pumped!
For me, the most important aspect of fashion is confidence and I will gravitate towards anything that makes me feel like I can take over the world. Some days that’s a bohemian shift dress and other days that’s skinny jeans and a body suit! Although my style is ever-changing, one thing that never changes is my fascination with layering my jewelry; I am a firm believer that accessories can make or break an outfit. My current obsessions include chokers, booties and handbags! This fall I am challenging myself to push my personal boundaries and tap into styles that I have never worn before.
Outside of studying the fashion industry and blogging about the fashion industry, you can probably catch me watching Project Runway reruns, taking photographs, hiking, writing in my planner (I am a planner freak!) or sketching.
This fall is opening up a brand new chapter that is filled with adventure and opportunity and I am so excited to share it with you guys so stay tuned for more! xoxo
