Hello again, Fashionistas and Fashionitos! My name is Dominique Stadtman and I am excited to be back for my second semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. Documenting my own and my classmates’ outfits this past fall has been an amazing way to keep up with the latest trends and I loved every second of it. Now, I can’t wait to share with you my favorite winter and spring looks throughout this semester.
To tell you a little bit about myself, I’m a Jersey Girl living in New York City to attend the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University. Currently, I am studying marketing and fashion with plans to go abroad next fall semester.
Living in the city has provided me with unmatched exposure to fashion and style, starting on my own campus. One thing that I love about Fordham is that everyone is eager to show their own unique style, whether it be to class, a football game, or a night out. Since starting school here, I have become inspired by the looks around me and have been eager to experiment with my outfits and embrace the latest trends.
Currently, I am obsessed with mixing textures, especially faux furs, for the winter season. I am the type of person who is always cold, so this winter you can find me bundled under a warm jacket, checkered blanket scarf, pom-pom hat, and fingerless gloves. As shown above, I love wearing basic pieces that have a little element of uniqueness, such as the raw hem on these jeans and the distressed holes in the sweater. If you were to raid my closet, you would be sure to find plenty of denim, chunky Free People sweaters, and leather boots/booties. Needless to say, I can still be found wearing all-black most of the time, but I am eager to start experimenting more with color as the temperatures begin to rise this spring.
Thanks for keeping up with me so far! I can’t wait to keep sharing my favorite trends with everyone this spring.
