Hi there! I’m Eliza, a junior at George Washington University studying Interior Architecture and Design. I can’t believe this is my fifth STYLE GURU BIO I’m writing for CollegeFashionista! It’s so crazy how time flies! Looking back on my old bios as inspiration for this one, I really noticed how much my style has evolved since freshman year. Formerly super preppy and girlie, I’ve traded my Lilly in for leather and now find myself dressing a bit more edgy and masculine.
Here I am wearing some of my staples for the upcoming fall season, all simple and versatile. My faux leather mini skirt is from Zara and it has pockets! My trench coat is also from Zara. It looks devastatingly similar to some very high-end alternatives (I’m looking at you, Burberry) and was only 70 euros. My sneakers are Stan Smith for Adidas. When I was in Europe this summer, I saw more people wearing Adidas sneakers than any other shoe, so I picked up this pair when I was in Paris. A simple white V-neck T-shirt from Michael Stars keeps my look casual and simple, just the way I like it. My Balenciaga bag is the prefect size to carry around in the city and has both short and cross body straps. My bracelet is Hermès, and I think it adds a fun little pop of color to my relatively plain outfit.
Some other pieces I love for the fall are leather pants, graphic T-shirts (especially from Eleven Paris), loafers and boyfriend jeans. I can’t wait to get back to school and see what trends the Fashionista/os at George Washington University are wearing!
