Hello Fashionista/os! I’m Eliza, a junior at George Washington University studying Interior Architecture and Design, and this is my sixth semester writing for CollegeFashionista. Between the interesting classes I take, the dozens of fashion publications I read on any given day and the stylish Fashionista/os I see in in D.C., there is no shortage of inspiration when it comes to style and design.
I have become absolutely obsessed with this dark army green color I have on, and it has become one of the vey few colors I wear besides black, white and gray. I’m not a huge fan of wearing dresses and skirts in general, but the sweatshirt material and the zipper detailing on the arm are what sold me on this piece. It’s not super girly and it’s really comfortable; it’s my ideal dress. I don’t know exactly how it happened, but I managed to get a pair of these adidas YEEZY Boost 350 sneakers the day they released over the summer. Not only are they one of the most comfortable shoes I own, they also go well with a majority of my wardrobe and are very versatile. I wear them with everything from sweatpants to jeans to dresses, as you can see here. My backpack is Stella McCartney and is a great for times when I don’t feel like carrying anything. The watch I have on is from Cluse, a brand I discovered thanks to Rachel Zoe when I received this piece in her fall Box of Style.
Some trends I am loving this season are dressing monochromatically (head to toe black, navy, gray etc.), bomber jackets and skin tone nail polish. I can’t wait to get back down to D.C. and see what the Fashionistas and Fashionistos are wearing!
