Hey Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Elizabeth Morales and I just finished my junior year at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. I’m dreading going back in the fall for my senior year because I absolutely love everything about my school. At DePauw, I am double majoring in psychology and Spanish with a minor in Art History. In addition to wandering around campus scoping out the latest fashions, I am the Campus Correspondent for DePauw’s chapter of Her Campus. I am also the Social Media Chair and a proud member of DePauw’s cheerleading squad and can be found on the sidelines at every football game and courtside at basketball games.
My personal sense of style is constantly changing and evolving as I try out new trends. I generally try to stay clear of fads, but if I do find one that I like, I try to put my own personal spin on it. I have been in love with fashion starting from a young age. I always try to take fashion risks whether that be wearing something completely off the wall or simply adding that one extra piece to be unique. I look at fashion as a wearable art form and I am fortunate enough to show off my creations every day to a public audience.
Now that summer is finally creeping up in Indiana, I have been so thankful to shed my layers and focus on all the new warm weather clothing. I’ve become obsessed with all things lace and am super excited to start wearing fun patterns, instead of the solids I tend to stick with for winter. Even though I will begin to incorporate patterns into my wardrobe, I can’t say that color will be added. Even with the warm weather, I can’t seem to part from my go-to–neutrals. This summer I plan on living in my black platform sandals (because at five feet I could definitely use the extra height). Finally, I still plan on wearing dark, matte lips. Whether that be my favorite MAC shade “Studded Kiss” or Kourt K by Kylie Cosmetics (that is quickly becoming one of my new favorites) we’ll just have to see!
This is my fourth semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista, my second semester as an Editorial Intern and my first semester as a Social Media Intern. I am beyond ready for the #RAD semester we are going to have together. Make sure to keep up with me on my social media platforms so that you don’t miss a thing!
