Hey, Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Elizabeth Morales, and I just started my senior year at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. I’m sad that this is my last year, but I’m also excited to see what the future holds. At DePauw, I am double majoring in psychology and Spanish with a minor in art history. I am also the social media chair and a proud member of DePauw’s cheerleading squad and can be found on the sidelines at every football game and courtside at basketball games.
My personal sense of style is constantly changing and evolving as I try out new trends. I generally try to stay clear of fads, but if I do find one that I like, I try to put my own personal spin on it. I have been in love with fashion starting from a young age. I always try to take fashion risks whether that be wearing something completely off the wall or simply adding that one extra piece to be unique. I look at fashion as a wearable art form, and I am fortunate enough to show off my creations every day to a public audience.
Because DePauw is a small, liberal arts university in the middle of nowhere, it’s sometimes hard to find new styles. Luckily, we have the Internet, so I am able to take inspiration from fashions from all over the world. This season, I am still obsessed with minimal, monochrome looks, but I always make sure to change things up with a pop of color or jewelry. Lately, I’ve been into the athleisure trend and can guarantee that I will be living in my Adidas this semester.
This is my fifth semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista and my third semester as an editorial intern. I am beyond ready for the #RAD semester we are going to have together. Make sure to keep up with me on my social media platforms so that you don’t miss a thing!
