Hello there! I’m Ellen Hart. I’m a freshman at Kent State University and am majoring in Fashion Merchandising. I’d love to be a stylist or a buyer of some sorts upon graduating. When I found out about CollegeFashionista, I was thrilled. I’ve been wanting to learn to blog for a while now, and I figured this would be the perfect “first internship” for me!
I’d describe my style as classic, but with an inner-bohemian vibe that loves to get out sometimes. I love pieces that can never go out of style, just like the fashion icons I look up to. People like Audrey Hepburn, Chloe Grace Moretz and Taylor Swift have a classic, effortless look that seems to “never go out of style.” Taylor Swift reference, get it? I love a nice red lip from time to time, or a simple black dress. You can catch me in all of the earth tones, and rarely in anything that’s too vibrant in color. Pieces that can be styled many different ways are my favorite!
What I’m wearing currently is a bohemian button-up dress turned into a shirt. It’s the perfect transition piece for fall, paired with dark-wash jeans, black pleather sandals and some silver and gold tone jewelry. Topped with a deep red lipstick, it makes the look ready for fall. This outfit is perfect for an outside concert, or a girl’s day out.
