Hey everyone! My name is Ellen and I am so excited to be returning to CollegeFashionista this fall! With one semester of being a Style Guru under my belt, I’m looking forward to what this new semester has in store for me. Fall fashion is my favorite; fun scarves, cozy sweaters and jeggings of all shades are some of my favorite pieces.
As a senior Communication/Journalism student with a minor in Psychology, I’m all about writing and learning about other peoples’ personalities; and what better way to express your personality than through fashion? My personal style is all about making simple looks more interesting, whether through cool new silhouettes, fun fabrics or the like. This look has been one of my favorite go-to outfits for when I need something classic but intriguing. Instead of basic low-rise denim shorts, I’ve opted for a striking pair of black high-waisted shorts. I’ve paired them with a white cropped cami with a cool cross-over detail at the front. Here, I’ve layered a long, knit cardigan over the outfit to make the look more fall-friendly! Flat sandals and a small, neutral purse finish off the outfit.
Let’s not forget about accessories. I’m also really into small details, as they usually help make the look more interesting as well! Here, I added a small, sparkly bracelet and rolled the sleeves of my cardigan to emphasize it. Simple black earrings complete the look.
Thanks for checking out my articles this fall! I can’t wait to share all the fun styles I’ll find on campus this semester with you all.
