Hi everyone! My name is Emilie Stalnaker and I am a returning Style Guru. I go to school at Miami University (Ohio) and currently have a major in strategic communications and a co-major in fashion design. I love all things beauty and fashion, but also love expressing myself through photography and music. I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to be writing for CollegeFashionista for a second semester.
I have always been big on self-expression and I love that one can show who they are through their own style. I love that fashion and beauty have no limits and that the ideas and creativity are absolutely endless. In my own experience, I have found that the best looks come together when the person wearing them curates them from their own tastes and inspirations. There are no rules in the fashion game and I love that you can truly wear what you please and express yourself in any way that you like. My style tends to be a bit more edgy and casual but can also venture off into more vintage and classy as well.
This look that I am wearing is one that is a good representation of my style. Leather jackets are a staple in my closet, so of course I had to showcase it here, with a simple T-shirt underneath and my favorite pair of black ripped jeans. I like to pair outfits like this with a heeled bootie and some fun rings as well for a little bit of sparkle!
