Hello world, this is me! A Seattle girl born and raised, I have been home all summer, enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest and spending time with friends and family. However, all good things must come to and end, and I will be leaving for Connecticut at the end of the week, headed back to Wesleyan University. Though I am sad to leave my wonderful home, I cannot wait to be reunited with my college friends.
Today was a fairly relaxed day; I had a few errands to run in the morning before grabbing lunch with an old friend and doing a bit of shopping. As the weather was supposed to be sunny, but not too warm, I decided to wear an old, blush pink, babydoll dress from J.Crew. This dress is an absolute classic and though it is a few years old, I just keep coming back to it. Today, I paired the dress with navy pumps, my Marc by Marc Jacobs gray purse and brand new round sunglasses from Dorothy Perkins. This outfit is the perfect ensemble for a day around town; it’s easy to move in yet pulled together. It is also a great representation of my style because it is classic and pulled together, incorporating soft colors, while adding a bit of boho-chic with the round sunnies and the flow of the dress.
