Hello everyone once again! I am excited to be returning to CollegeFashionista for my second semester. I am a junior at Central Michigan University and I recently switched my major from fashion merchandising to journalism, but fashion will always be my first love. From a young age I always loved fashion, wanted it to be part of my life in some way and dreamt of working for a fashion magazine. With help from CollegeFashionista I hope to turn that dream into a reality.
Although saddened by the end of summer approaching, I am super excited for fall, because seriously who doesn’t love fall fashion? Towards the end of August the days remain hot but the nights begin to turn cool, which is why it is essential to have a jacket or sweater you can wear during both the day and night. My go-to Calvin Klein jean jacket is the perfect piece for just this. Of course I can’t wear my jean jacket without my favorite Chuck Taylor’s. Another one of my favorite things to piece with my Converse is a band tee. This “CAD” band tee is my brother’s that I cut and tied to make a crop top.
Sometimes you just don’t feel like doing your hair, or maybe nothing is working out, so when all else fails a pair of sunglasses makes the cutest headband. Even if this choker trend dies out, I think I’m in for the long haul because I am still so obsessed! This one is simply a strand of ribbon I cut to size—unique and affordable.
