Growing up in my own college town, my fashion tastes have grown vastly over the past several years at VCU.
I initially started my college journey at the Virginia Military Institute where I was playing soccer on a full-ride. However, I quickly felt like something was missing. After much deliberation, I decided to transfer to Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of the Arts where I now study fashion merchandising at one of the top programs in the country, and I could not be happier.
Everyday, we face the chaos of college, choosing when to sleep, what to eat and what to do. However, one thing that never fails for us is our own personal style.
Fashion, or what we make of it, allows us to share our own creativity with the world through the expression of our clothing. Wether it is a sporty everyday look or a boho-chic outfit worn throughout the little streets of your personal city, you can always make fashion your own. So heres my little piece of advice—embrace it! Love yourself and love your look!
With this, let me just say that I am thrilled to take you on a personal journey of discovering yourself and your look throughout summer 2016.
Here, I am wearing my favorite Free People top, American Eagle Outfitters jeans, bevello booties and my favorite Ralph Lauren purse! Look for my post next week for some Style Advice of the Week!
