Hey guys! My name is Emmanuela Okon and I am so excited to continue my journey on here at CollegeFashionista as a Style Guru. This would be my second semester with the CollegeFashionista team, and I must say, I cannot wait to see what cool stuff the internship has in this year of 2017!
However, being in this internship has been a great source of inspiration for me in terms of my perspective towards fashion and beauty related subjects. So, getting to be a part of 2017’s spring semester will help me discover myself even more as I get to unlock my inner being. Basically, this internship has been a daily motivation for me to keep on striving to be the best that I can be, which also applies to anyone out there pursuing their talent either as a job or hobby.
Now, before I get into this outfit, I must say the Canadian weather is not the best right now, but I was still able to get this whole look together. So, I decided to go in with this black pile jacket from H&M which adds a chicness and classiness to the look. And then, to add a bit of color, I paired the jacket with a red Thrasher T-shirt for a more vibrant tone. For the bottoms, I went in with a pair of thick black leggings from Garage, and then for the shoes, I have on a pair of black knee-high boots from Aldo. This pair of platform boots elevates the whole look and gives it a feminine touch and edgy vibe.
For accessories, I decided to have a statement piece that would make the whole outfit stand out, so I chose to put on a crystal choker necklace. This choker really adds a bling effect, which is definitely eye-catching. For my hair, I have on crochet faux lock braids, which are something I had not tried on, but liked from my previous articles. I am the kind of person who likes trying out new styles so that way I have many options to choose from.
Lastly, always remember to do what makes you happy and keep up with a positive mindset by surrounding yourself in an environment with nothing but good vibes. So, with CollegeFashionista, this is a step I have taken to showcase my talent and abilities and in this new year, I am hoping to grow even more.
