Hey fellow Fashionistas/os, my name is Emmrick McCadden. I’m about to begin my junior year studying media and communications at the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. You can find me tweeting and eating my way through our nation’s capital, but I will always call Maryland my home. I’ve grown up having a love for fashion and photography, so what better way to express myself than through CollegeFashionista? This is my second Style Guru Bio and I’m so excited for what the coming semester will bring!
I would describe my style as classic and chic. I am always drawn to the more feminine styles and traditional patterns, but at the same time I still like to keep my look a little bit on the trendy side. I love mixing all those timeless styles with newer pieces and different accessories. While I tend to stick more to a neutral palette it’s always fun to throw a pop of color in there too.
This outfit is one of my favorites, I think it mixes all of my favorite elements of style together. The top is just a simple mauve colored tank top, which is great for the summer because it’s super lightweight but still looks stylish. The shorts are from Abercrombie & Fitch and are just a simple pair of black cut-off denim shorts that have definitely been a favorite of mine this summer. I completed the outfit with a pair of jeweled leather sandals, some delicate gold accessories and of course my tortoise shell sunglasses.
It’s safe to say that I will most definitely be rocking this look when I go back to school. Can’t wait for another great semester with all my fellow Fashionistas!
