Hello fellow Fashionistas/os! My name is Erin Sullivan and I am currently a senior at the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) majoring in Strategic Communication and minoring in Psychology. This is my first semester as a Style Guru, so I am excited to get the chance to show the world what the Kansas City/KU Fashionistas/os have to offer!
As a Strategic Communications major, I am interested in pursuing a career in either fashion PR, marketing beauty products or working in the marketing department of a designer such as Diane von Furstenberg or kate spade. Before becoming a Strategic Communication major, I was a Photomedia major and wanted to be a fashion photographer, so my interest in pursuing fashion in one way or another has not changed one bit!
I am a huge fan of shopping locally, but at the same time I have an online shopping problem and cannot resist free shipping or a good discount. Lately I have been buying and wearing neutrals (like a great LBD maxi dress) and pairing them with pops of color (like an orange clutch) or even just sticking with the all-black everything theme! I get a lot of outfit inspiration from various fashion blogs and the Women’s Fashion section on Pinterest, but really enjoy putting my own spin on things to make it work for me and my style.
