Hi there! My name is Evan. I am a senior studying communications with an emphasis on advertising at Washington State University. I am very excited to be writing for CollegeFashionista for my first time during my last semester as an undergrad. My semesters at school have been nothing but busy, but adding CollegeFashionista to the agenda seems nothing but a great time! Buying new clothes and excessive amounts of shoes is one of my hobbies as well as photographing when a good outfit day comes along.
When deciding on what to wear, I believe one’s style could go from one side of the spectrum to the other. No one person is required to wear one style of clothing his or her whole life. If comfy sweatpants and a classic sweatshirt is what you’re feeling for the day, then so be it. If a dress, tights, and booties are what another day is looking like, go for it. Clothing is a way to express how you feel as well as being art for one’s self.
For this look pictured, I took a basic pair of blue denim jeans (that were hand-me-downs actually) and paired them with an opened backed, brown/nude sweater as well as a leather jacket to tie it all together. With it being in the negative degrees at my school, I would usually wear not only a simple beanie but several pairs of gloves and socks to accompany it. For my last touch, I went with my chunky black booties and a simple silver necklace.
