My name is Francesca Giordano, and I am currently a junior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington studying Communications and Digital Arts. This upcoming spring semester, I will be exploring the beautiful city of Florence, Italy. I am excited to share my journey with you and show you fashion from all over Europe as I go on many new and exciting adventures.
Throughout my 20 years, I have experienced a wide variety of places. I grew up in the Bronx, New York, moved to the suburbs for high school, and I am now living my college years down south. These different places have exposed me to a wide variety of fashion and styles. Over the years, I have switched up my style quite a few times, but that’s what makes fashion so much fun. You can become whoever you want to be and let everyone know all in one outfit.
The only rule I have when it comes to fashion is only wear something that makes you feel confident, because if you feel confident you will be confident, and nothing feels better than loving what you are wearing. When I was in elementary school, I would steal my grandma’s high heels and would walk down the long narrow hallway that led to my bedroom, just as if I was walking on a runway. I always felt like I was on top of the world wearing her heels, which were very clearly too big for my tiny feet. If a pair of shoes can give you that much confidence, imagine what a whole outfit can do!
I hope to inspire you with my fashion finds while abroad and expose you to a whole new world of fashion. I cannot wait to show you what new styles I find!
