Hi Fashionistas! My name is Gabby Peticca and I’m a Fashion Merchandising major at the University of Georgia. I’m originally from a small town in North Carolina, but I’m a city girl at heart. I’ve always loved fashion and shopping (what girl doesn’t?), but it wasn’t until my first trip to New York City that I realized I wanted to pursue a career in this field. One thing I love about the fashion industry is that it is constantly changing. For that reason, I am so excited to be a part of the CollegeFashionista team to follow the cycle of upcoming trends.
My personal style ranges from chic and clean to edgy and bold. I am a strong believer in accessorizing and have an addiction to rings and nail polish. I also love pairing neutral tops and dresses with a bright lipstick for a pop of color. My favorite article of clothing would have to be my casual white T-shirt because it’s so easy to dress up or down and layer in a variety of ways. My style is different every day and I enjoy changing it up to keep things interesting.
Athens, Georgia is known for its diversity, whether it be the food, the music scene or the people; the city has definitely inspired me in many ways. I hope to expand my horizons further by exploring and discovering the trendsetters in my area and hopefully inspire others to take a step out of their fashion comfort zone. I believe you can tell a lot about a person from their wardrobe and I look forward to capturing the personalities of my fellow Georgia Bulldogs through their unique styles.
