Hello to all the Fashionistas/os out there!
My name is Gabriella Guerriero and I am currently a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. I am studying Advertising & Marketing Communications for my AAS degree, with hopes to pursue International Trade & Marketing for the Fashion Industries as my BS degree. I’m an individual with a passion for fashion. I constantly feel inspired by New York City and the diversity that surrounds me there. The fashion culture of the city makes me feel as if it’s acceptable to dress and wear whatever you desire. Since I do not possess one distinct look, I believe that you should be able to wear whatever you want, whenever you want. Some days you may be feeling that elegant look full of lace and pinks, some days it may be that rocker-chic look with the sexy laced-up black shirt and leather jacket or other days you may feel more bohemian with a crop top on and boho skirt. I embrace the idea of a diverse style, instead of one constant look. However, I feel that with whichever look you choose, remaining classy, poised and true to yourself is the best way to position your style on a day-to-day basis.
My favorite designers/brands range from high-end to low-end. I love designers/brands ranging from Balmain, Givenchy, Valentino, Céline to Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Steve Madden, etc. It isn’t about the designers/brands, but rather the quality and appeal of what you’re looking to have.
My advice to you all is to have fun and be brave when it comes to how you want to dress. Just always remember the way you dress is also a representation of who you are as a person.
