What’s up fashion friends?! I’m back for another semester of sharing my favorite trends and trendsetters here on CollegeFashionista! I just finished my first year at The Ohio State University and it was a blast. If I could describe OSU in one word it would be, “diverse.” Our campus has such a variety of people, interests, cultures, talents and fashion senses! The diversity helped me grow in many ways as a person, and also in my clothing choices. I’ve become a little more daring and creative in my outfits, but I still consider my style to be more on the classic side.
The season of summer is for experimenting with your style and all of the fun trends this time of year brings. My favorite trend for this summer is two-pieces! I am obsessed with things that match, and two-piece outfits are such a fresh, unique way to spice up your typical summer wardrobe. Speaking of my summer obsessions, I have to mention Lilly Pulitzer. To me, the brand Lilly Pulitzer is the definition of summer. Bright colors, bold patterns and fresh yet timeless silhouettes. How could a girl not be in love? Lilly pieces are definitely my go-to in the summer, and this two-piece is no exception. In this outfit, I paired it with statement white earrings, a simple gold bangle and my ride or die Jack Rogers (which will literally be glued to my feet all summer). It’s perfect for brunch, grad parties, spontaneous trips to the Caribbean (hey a girl can dream right?) or basically any occasion!
