Hi there! My name is Hailey Wickenhauser. I’m currently a freshman at The University of Alabama. I’m studying apparel and textiles with a concentration in fashion retail and a general business minor. I also am involved in Greek life as a sister of the Alpha Delta Pi Eta Chapter! I’ve had a serious passion for fashion since about elementary school and knew I would love working in the industry someday! I’m excited to get the opportunity to write for CollegeFashionista! I’ve worked in retail before, but I’m looking forward to gaining experience with a new side of the industry with writing about fashion and different styles around Alabama!
For me, personally, I don’t stick with one specific style. One day I’ll be wearing pearls and the next you’ll see me in a choker! I wear basics, boho, preppy, and even edgy looks sometimes! It’s okay to branch out and show the world who you are! I’ve always loved Rachel Zoe’s quote, “Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak.” So true!
For this look I wore a lace-up cable knit sweater with leather leggings and a choker to add a little edge to the trendy outfit. For shoes I picked my over-the-knee suede boots. I loved the look of the mixed materials with the leather and suede!
