Hello Fashionistas! My name is Haley Bockius; I was born in Connecticut, raised in California, and now I attend the University of Tampa in Florida. I’m studying advertising and public relations, and I will be graduating with my undergraduate degree this May. As a first-time Style Guru, I am beyond excited to be a part of the CollegeFashionista team and to share with you my perspective on the fashion world.
When I’m not scrolling through my various forms of social media for lifestyle and fashion inspiration, I enjoy kayaking, blogging, and cooking. More recently, I have taken up photography and I have fallen completely in love with it!
Florida is referred to as the sunshine state, but if you live here, or have ever visited, you know that the state is also known for the record amount of rainfall it receives each year. My style heavily depends on this factor. The continuously changing weather has led me to have two pieces of clothing that remain constant in my wardrobe; a pair of cute and trendy sunglasses, and secondly an anorak style jacket. These pieces are both fashionable and functional.
Fall fashion is my absolute favorite, therefore a pair of booties with unique detail was a part of my everyday wardrobe this month. Some of my favorite booties this season included fun details such as straps, buckles, embroidery, and glitter.
To complete my look, I wear one or two bracelets, or maybe a few rings. My favorite jewelry pieces are delicate with small stones, adding a sophisticated feel to my outfit.
