Hey there, Fashionistas/os! My name is Haley Rudish, and I am a junior at Iowa State University. I am majoring in Apparel Merchandising and minoring in Event Management. I am a part of a few clubs and organizations here, and I work for the Iowa State football team. I love to get involved and enjoy sharing my passions with others.
I recently studied abroad in Italy where I took classes on design and art. I thought this would give me a different perspective from the business side of things for when I start my career. I thought being a Style Guru would be perfect for being able to get to know the fashion side of the business as well.
My personal style is simple. I like to wear nudes and blacks and I like wearing clothes that don’t have a lot going on in the design. I like to be casual and wear comfy clothes, so loose clothes are my favorite things to put on in the mornings. I am normally rushed in the mornings and have a hectic schedule, so I love throwing on an over-sized sweater or a flowy dress to stay comfy throughout the day. Don’t get me wrong. I love to wear pops of color from whatever is in my wardrobe or my accessories. My favorite way to add a little color to my outfit is lipstick. I love lipstick! I wear every shade from pink to purple. Adding color to my outfits makes them fun yet still simple enough to fit my style.
I am excited to be able to see all the different styles from my fellow Style Gurus, and I look forward to getting inspiration for my own benefit!
