Hey everyone! I’m Hannah Michael, a junior at Penn State University studying Telecommunications and minoring in Business. I am so excited to be a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista this semester, and to share some of my favorite looks with you all!
I’ll start off with a little bit about myself. Being a college student on a budget, it’s a constant struggle wanting to buy every cute article of clothing I see. When I’m not watching my latest favorite series on Netflix (right now it’s How I Met Your Mother) or studying at school, I work part time as a barista at Starbucks to help pay for my shopping obsession. Slaving over an espresso machine to pay for a new pair of heels isn’t as easy as you may think, and it has also resulted in my newfound coffee addiction.
When it comes to my style, I would best describe it as classic and feminine. I love wearing dresses, skirts and rompers and pairing them with the perfect wedge or sandal. But overall, I can’t stick to just one style! Some nights I feel edgy and other days I will go for a more chic look. I love to mix things up. In general I wear neutral colors and love simple, classy designs, floral and lace. I am also a firm believer that you can never have too many shoes, but my brown lace-up sandals are an all-time favorite of mine! My favorite accessories to go with any look would have to be a cute pair of sunglasses and a necklace or two.
While I love my own personal style, I’m also so excited to gain some inspiration from other Fashionistas/os and explore different looks from colleges all over the country!
