Hi! My name is Hannah Morlan and I am one of the newest CollegeFashionista Style Gurus representing the University of Florida, where I am a senior studying telecommunications/marketing. I am so excited to start this journey of exploring my sense of style and sharing some of my favorite fall looks. I’m looking forward to not only sharing my love of all things fashion, but also helping Fashionistas understand that you can still be on trend and look expensive while on a tight college budget.
I grew up in a beachy town on the west coast of Florida. If I’m not sitting on the couch with my cat, you can most likely find me on a beach somewhere. I’m a lover of the little things in life: thrift store finds, coffee, movie marathons and a great slouchy sweatshirt. I discovered my love for fashion and beauty at a young age, while putting on my moms lipstick and dancing around in oversized high heels. Not much has changed!
I view fashion as a form of art and way to express my personality. My style ranges from oversized T-shirts and ripped jeans to flowy floral dresses. I love the concept of combining feminine and edgy pieces together. If someone were to ask me my favorite colors, I’d say “neutrals.”
All at once, summer has collapsed into fall semester. Here in Florida, summer weather tends to linger until November. I thought that this off-the-shoulder floral maxi dress and oversized floppy hat was the perfect outfit to transition into fall fashion while staying cool.
