Hello Fashionistas and Fashionistos. My name is Hannah Norman and I am a new Style Guru for this fall! I am a Fashion Merchandising major, with a minor in fashion media at Kent State University. I am currently involved in Greek life, the fashion student organization and A fashion magazine for my school. I am currently studying in Florence Italy, and will be traveling through Europe this semester. I cant wait to share my international fashion finds with you.
As a world traveler I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, but I can’t seem to stay away from Europe. I spent last summer traveling around Paris, France, studying fashion and soaking in all the city has to offer. This was such an amazing experience, I knew I had to take another opportunity to study abroad again. This fall I will be living in Florence Italy for four months, seeing what the beautiful city has to offer. Traveling is definitely my passion. I also spent this summer in New York City, the worlds fashion capital. Here I learned the ins and outs of fashion, which really helped shape my style today.
Style, whats mine? I like to change it up day by day, depending on my adventure, or even my mood. My current style is mostly boho, but I also like to keep it simple and classy. On a normal summer day I love a simple shift dress and I enjoy dressing my looks up with lots of unique jewelry with a basic sandal. Fall fashion is my favorite. I love to layer, I often wear a ripped jean with a classic tank top and a funky jacket to mix things up. I think having a statement piece is a fun way to make an outfit pop. I experiment a lot with different trends and styles to mix up my wardrobe. I think it is important to appreciate all fashion trends. Also because I like to travel so much, it is important for my outfits to be reusable, comfortable and fashion-forward. Those are the main things I search for when I go out on a shopping spree.
In today’s look I have chosen one of my favorite summer outfits, fit for travel in the heat. Im wearing a Free People classic shirt dress with gold strappy sandals from Target. Today I mixed up my look with a unique geode bracelet, by Rhea Kulcsar and custom Alex and Ani bracelets.
