Hey, Fashionistas! Thanks for stopping by to check out my new Style Guru bio. I’m Hannah, and I’m about to start my sophomore year at San Diego State University. This is my second semester as a Style Guru, and I can’t wait to see what new and exciting things are in store for me! With the warm weather we are having now, I know I’ll be seeing many diverse outfits on campus, with anything from flowy rompers to a basic tank and shorts being in style. In fact, as I’m writing this article, I’m also doing some last minute packing before I move into my new apartment near SDSU. So far, my suitcase consists of about a thousand pairs of shorts, a hundred crop tops, a few summer dresses and two light jackets in case I’m somehow chilly. I’m definitely fashion ready for the rest of the summer season at school! It’s always sentimental leaving home and bidding my parents goodbye (even though I live just 30 minutes away from school); however, I’m looking forward to starting the next chapter of my life and taking on my second year at SDSU.
I consider this look to be an everyday outfit to wear to class. A staple denim jacket is my go-to outerwear for those sometimes chilly mornings. It adds a cool and relaxed vibe to any getup. I also like to roll up the sleeves to reveal the rose gold watch I wear everyday along with any other jewelry I’ve decided to put on. To block out the haters and the sun, I don my black Ray-Ban wayfarers that add to the coolness factor of the outfit. Underneath my jacket is a casual black and white crop top with a pair of black high-waisted shorts. I’ll probably be wearing this same outfit to class for the next couple weeks of school as I try to wipe the sweat off my brow and chug a bottle of water in the intense San Diego heat.
To beat the heat, I’ve also put my hair up in a cute bun; this is both stylish and smart as I won’t have to deal with doing my hair in the morning or feeling hotter with it on the back of my neck. I finish off the look with my favorite pair of adidas Superstar Sneakers. These shoes seriously go with any outfit and are super comfy for my long walks to class. If you’re looking for a stylish and chic pair of walking shoes, I highly recommend these kicks!
I hope you are all just as ready for the new school year as I am and that you jump into it wearing your favorite pair of shoes. I wish you all the best of luck in this upcoming semester! Stay classy, and have a #RAD time, Fashionistas.
