Hi everyone, I’m Hannah Claire! I’m 19 years old living in sunny North Florida. Growing up, I was always dressing up and trying different styles. As I got older, I learned that I never outgrew playing dress-up. One thing that I’ve learned is that one doesn’t have to stick to a specific style like preppy, boho, etc. for their everyday outfits. I like to try on new looks and trends even if it doesn’t match a specific style category.
In college my passion for fashion started to grow. I became a follower of many fashion blogs, started creating outfit posts and sharing the latest trends I discovered. I created my blog and used my Instagram to show my love for fashion. I chose communications/public relations as my major in college because I love using social media as a creative outlet. What I love about PR is that specialists are always keeping up with the media, creating an image and working hard.
Being a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista will help me better my skills at creating my own image in the fashion world. By showcasing different styles and reviewing the latest trends from other perspectives, I will be able to get a better understanding of the business behind the fashion world. Everyone has their own individual style which makes fashion so exciting. I can’t wait to share all the wonderful looks and personalities I come across this year!
In this look I’m wearing my favorite white jeans. I believe that here in Florida white jeans never go out of season. I like to layer my tops when the temperatures get lower. I paired this poncho and turtleneck for a fun, flirty look. When class is in session, ponchos are always cozy to wear to class. I never leave my house without wearing my favorite pair of sunnies, my purse (big enough to hold all the necessities) and a fun necklace. I am loving the choker trend that is going on. I added a keychain on my purse to add some fun to it. It spells “blessed” in wire. Lastly, I believe every girl needs a good pair of booties. They can make any outfit look chic.
“Fashion is about dressing according to what’s fashionable. Style is more about being yourself.” – Oscar de la Renta
