Hey there! My name is Hannah Wilson, I’m a Fashion Merchandising sophomore at the University of Delaware. I have always loved fashion, and literally could not wait to become a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. I am currently dying with excitement over my first post.
I come from a tiny town in southern New Hampshire, where style isn’t a huge part of the local daily life—but it is a huge part of mine. I’m 19 years old and have had an eye for fashion since I hit high school. I participated in a pre-college fashion merchandising program as a junior, and that solidified my interest in the fashion industry.
As it says in my profile, I have a very simple sort of style that involves a lot of layering. I never go anywhere without a bralette, my sunglasses and a cardigan or flannel. A classic dark peach or mauve lipstick is my new thing, which I’m wearing in this photo.
The deep maroon color of my Brandy Melville ribbed top is a new favorite color of mine. I love the neckline of this crop top and I have a black PacSun bralette hidden underneath. I believe that when you have a small chest like me, its always nice to add a high neckline to your outfit. My high-waisted jeans pair great with the shorter top, and are a go-to for me when I head out on the town. These distressed jeans are from my favorite store, Urban Outfitters, which is great for statement pieces, and essentials, like denim. My color-blocked sandals are from American Eagle Outfitters, and give my outfit a boho, casual feel that’s perfect for summer.
Another item from Urban Outfitters would be my very reflective, round sunglasses. When I first bought these, I was obsessed. I couldn’t help but annoy my Snapchat friends with so many selfies. These glasses pair well with any summer or early fall outfit. They’re perfect for a sunny day, and add a unique air to your look.
