Hi fabulous Fashionistas/os! My name is Harry Xu and I am a senior at Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. I am majoring in International Business with a minor in Chinese. My love for fashion came from a recent vacation to New York City where I walked down Fifth Avenue and just fell in love with everything. I am super excited to return as a Style Guru for the summer!
This interest of fashion just recently came about. As soon as I returned from New York my passion became fashion. Then the guilty pleasure of shopping came and now I spend way too much money on clothes. Loving fashion has brought so many new friends and opportunities. I am so happy that I have fallen in love with it.
If I were to describe my own personal style it would be: diva. I love the term diva because it means being posh and sassy, which I love to be. My looks can range from an all-pink outfit, to over-the-top, to a classic black dress with heels for a proper look. Every outfit I wear describes me.
OSU is such an amazing place when it comes to fashion because it is near the Short North, which is very artsy and has a lot of different styles. Plus, there is such a diverse background at OSU as well. I see different styles everyday walking to class which gives Buckeyes an amazing edge.
Micheal Kors said it best, “Be romantic, strong and gorgeous. Walk fast and with energy. Kill them with chic.” The style at OSU ranges. I am here to capture the fabulous moments of Buckeyes. My advice to you guys? Be yourself for who you are. I have taken that and ran with it. I have become such a confident person in every part of my life.
