Hi! My name is Heather Harvison and I am from Fort Worth, Texas. I will be a junior at the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) this upcoming fall. I am a double marketing and management major with a minor in retail management, so I am super excited to jump into the fashion side of business and incorporate it into my future career! This will be my first semester as a Style Guru and I could not be more excited!
I have always payed attention to fashion and clothing trends, however once I got to college I began creating my own sense of style (which is definitely still evolving and changing). Two of my favorite things to do with my outfits is to mix and match high-end and low-end items and also just to have an overall monochromatic look.
This outfit is one example of mixing and matching! Okay. I have to start off with my favorite part, the SHOES. I have been noticing the trend of wooden heels/clogs but I haven’t wanted to invest in a pair, so these are perfect (and super comfortable)! Secondly, I love anything with a high neckline. I always find that I gravitate towards anything with a high neckline. There is something so flattering about them! Surprisingly here in Texas, this look served perfectly for the cooler temperature and cloudy weather.
I am super excited not only to share fashion from my hometown, but also to see different styles from colleges all over the nation! Let’s have a #RAD summer!
