Hey, what’s up, hello! How is summer already over? Although I’m sad to see summer go, I’m thrilled to be welcomed back to the Style Guru internship.
Over the summer I was able to take part in the Social Media Style Guru internship, where the main outlet was Instagram. If you know anything about me, you probably know that I’m an Instagram junkie. Lucky enough for me (and you if you enjoyed all the #StyleGuruLove fun) I’ll be involved in both sectors of the CollegeFashionista internship this fall (YAY)!
All right, so being that this is a bio, I suppose I’ll tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Holly Reimer; I’m entering my junior year at the University of Iowa and couldn’t be more excited to get started. This year will be a year of firsts. I’ve decided to hang up the pom-poms and exchange them for a microphone. While I’ve enjoyed the past two years on the Iowa Dance team, I’ll be filling my schedule with reporting for the sports sector of Daily Iowan Television. In addition to that, I’m pumped to explore and pursue my passion for dance in a different route than I’ve taken before.
When it comes to my style, my idol is Kylie Jenner. Like she flawlessly does, I’m a big fan of mixing casual and dressy elements to create one cohesive look. My love for stripes and flannels is out of this world, so pair those with some lipstick and you have me in outfit form. My current obsession is my pair of all white adidas Superstar sneakers. I love mixing them with a dress to create a contrast between a day to night look.
It’s safe to say you’ll be seeing a lot more of my fashion blurbs this semester. So ready or not, get ready for some #RAD posts.
