Wearing boyfriend jeans, a striped shirt and some Converse, I greet you. My name is Iman Usmani, and I am a freshman at North Carolina State University. I am majoring in Business. So, let’s talk business.
You know when people say that, “When you look your best, you feel your best?” One of the major rules in business is that you always have to look professional. Now, I am not going to bore you during my internship with outfits only regarding a slick blazer. Actually, who knows? Maybe I will throw a business casual outfit in the mix just for kicks.
For now, you should know a little about my style. It is hard to explain because I don’t think that I fit one specific category, but I’ll give you an idea. I love a good shirt and some Gap jeans, but at the same time, I love to wear soft and flowy maxi dresses. It all depends on what my mood is, what the occasion is and how fluffy my hair is.
Considering my hair was relatively calm today, I decided to sport a white top from Madewell (my haven), my favorite pair of Lululemon pants (I admit to wearing these too often) and a pair of waterproof Birkenstocks. As for accessories, a gal can never have too many bracelets. I am wearing an array of bracelets from random places. The collection includes bracelets from Alex and Ani, Lily and Laura and little markets in Europe. On my other arm, I am wearing a watch from Casio, which goes perfectly with everything. My bag is a vintage Coach bag from my grandma. She left the Coach family for Louis Vuitton, so she gave me the bag to keep the legacy alive.
If you liked this half sporty and half girly look, follow me. I promise to leave the blazers at home.
