Hi, everyone! Super excited to be back for my sixth semester with CollegeFashionista as a Style Guru intern and Social Media intern this spring semester. This is also my final year of college. I am a senior at Pacific Union College and will be graduating with a degree in Communications and Journalism, as well as a minor in Italian. I go to school in the gorgeous Napa Valley, but I am originally from Portland, Oregon.
Ever since I can remember I have always had an interest in fashion. For example, when I was a little girl, I would always pay attention to what people wore. As I got older, I would draw designs in my notebooks during class and ponder on how the teacher’s outfit could be improved. Later on, I took sewing classes and became an avid reader of fashion magazines.
My own particular style is rather simple and minimalistic. I love to wear black, especially black moto jackets. I even have a board on Pinterest titled “Did I mention I love black?,” full of images of outfits featuring black clothing. I also have a lot of gray, navy and white in my closet. When it comes to jewelry, simple geometric jewelry in a gold tone is my favorite; however, I’m not afraid of a statement necklace from Zara or J.Crew. I will also often layer my necklaces. During the winter, I wear a lot of sweaters and boots and occasionally some oxfords.
I hope to work in the world of the fashion industry when I graduate in June. I have learned so much from CollegeFashionista and I hope to continue bringing great content to you all this spring semester.
