Hi, I am Jasjeet. I am a 20-something student attending University of Kentucky with a major in Apparel, Merchandise and Textile. I am beyond excited to be a part of #STYLEGURUGANG this fall because it is my favorite time of the year and because I get to layer, wear booties and drink apple cider.
Born and raised in New Delhi, India, I moved to the United States with my family when I was 15 years old. After graduating high school in 2011, I was not sure what I wanted pursue my career in. Through working at retail stores, I realized how much I liked fashion and styling people, so I eventually decided to pursue a career in it.
In my fashion world, there should be an outfit planned for each day whether it is for campus, brunch with your girlfriends or just grabbing dinner with your family and friends. I am obsessed with wearing neutrals. Photographed here, I paired my favorite black dress with a blush pink leather jacket and accessories. The outfit is very easy to transition from day to night. I plan and re-plan every aspect of what I will be wearing for little or big events of my life. To get some inspiration, I look over some magazines, check out blogs on Instagram and of course, stalk celebrities. My personal style is very affordable and effortless. To keep up with style does not mean you have spend every dollar in your pocket. I believe that fashion can be found at any budget.
