Hi world! My name is Jenni Fitzpatrick, a dreamer, lover, daughter, blogger, amateur photographer, singer, stylist, and writer. I’m known for my signature color (pink), always staying positive, being able to recite any Taylor Swift lyric there is, and helping you decide what dress you should rock to a party. I’m basically the fairy godmother when it comes to the burning question, what should I wear?
When you are 20 years old, you often find yourself trying to figure out this whole life thing. You might feel a little lost, a little broken, even a little sad. Self confidence and perception are two factors that contribute to true happiness. With that being said, there is something so magical and thrilling about putting on a new outfit and feeling like you can conquer the world. Fashion changes the women who wear the clothing. I believe that fashion is not just fabric; fashion is a feeling.
I grew up playing dress up, playing with my mom’s pearls, and singing Britney Spears Barbie karaoke. I guess you can say things have not really changed. I’m a total girly girl. If it sparkles or shines, I gotta have it. If it comes in pink, I’ll buy it. I am really big into cheetah print and faux fur.
I currently study business management at Coastal Carolina University, and marketing and media are two of my favorite things ever. I just launched my fashion blog, Just Jenni, in November 2016, and I am so extremely passionate about it. It is a mix of what I’m wearing, how I’m wearing it, and tips on how to become the best version of yourself.
I’m also obsessed with social media, so chances are if I’m not reading Vogue or drinking an iced chai tea latte, I’m probably taking an Instagram photo. Photography is a newfound love of mine, and I am constantly letting everything around me inspire me. I believe that everybody has a purpose. I am a young, optimistic, ambitious girl who loves life and wants to make a difference in this world. I will not ever stop working until I do.
The look photographed above is a true illustration of who I am: a punk barbie, if you must. I love the femininity of faux fur, and pink is just fabulous. If I had to choose a piece of clothing to represent my aesthetic, that would be it. To mix up the good-girl vibe, I added this stellar Led Zeppelin band T-shirt underneath. My dad is the biggest Led Zeppelin fan ever, so he is the one to blame for that one.
Of course, it would not be a Jenni outfit if I did not incorporate a diamond choker somehow. It has a vintage flare to it, with the pearls and diamonds intertwined. I’m in love. Since the top is so busy, I just paired black pants and these chic lace up heels for the look—a pink princess with just enough edge.
