Hey guys! So, I attend the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, and this is my second time signing on to be a Style Guru with CollegeFashionista. It has been such a rewarding opportunity, and I am so excited to be back again for another semester.
My style is usually very consistent. I am a girl that loves her classic pieces, like a comfy pair of Levi Brand Jeans, paired with either a fun/obnoxious vintage or trendy piece. As mentioned before, I am very into all things denim and leather, as I feel they will always be such easy go-to pieces and can be altered for any season. Another thing I’ve recently been swooning over is faux fur. It adds dimension to an outfit that not many other fabrics can do.
Being immersed in such a diverse culture, I truly have the freedom to be exposed to so many different influential people and styles that serve as such beautiful inspiration. Fashion has always been so important to me because it is my form of expression. I love the way such a powerful industry can still make us feel so much and give such freedom.
In this outfit, I opted for a more girly look as I was off to Central Park. With the weather being so nice recently, I just had to take advantage! I found this dress at a vintage shop, but I also love this one. Also, a red lip is great for adding a pop to a monochromatic outfit. I also just threw on my Birkenstocks because I’m able to walk the park comfortably in them. I can’t wait to share more looks that I find around campus and the city this semester!
