Hello everyone! I’m Jenny and this is my first semester with CollegeFashionista. I am super excited for this opportunity and cannot wait to share my hometown’s style. I was born and raised in sunny Southwest Florida. The beach, the sunshine, and the good company make Florida the place I want to live forever. I am currently a sophomore at Florida SouthWestern State College and majoring in business with a minor in marketing.
My style is more on the bohemian side but always comfortable. I strive to incorporate splashes of color in each outfit. The beach is a huge influence on my style as well due to the fact that I love the relaxed vibe. You can catch me in sandals most days of the year. My favorite brands include Dooney & Bourke, kate spade, Chanel and Free People.
Fashion has always been a part of my life. I am a very creative person and fashion is a way for me to express that. I really got into fashion when I started my personal blog, Sweet Teal. One of my staple pieces that I always have on me is my Ray-Ban Aviator sunglasses. Layering necklaces is my favorite style lately. In this outfit, I paired the layered necklaces with some high-waisted shorts, lace-up flats, and a solid colored kimono. It may be winter now, but it is always summer in Florida. I love that I can wear shorts any time of the year.
This semester I am looking forward to being inspired by new fashion trends and my campus street style. I am currently in love with the whole ‘70s trend and over-the-knee boots. I can not wait to see what trend is next. Here is to a rad semester and much more fashion to come!
