Hello Fashionistas! My name is Jenny Lee and this is my first time being a Style Guru with CollegeFashionista. I’m excited to share my articles with you guys and get inspired by other Style Gurus this summer. Now I know where to go to look for cool outfit inspiration!
I am currently in my first year of fashion design degree at Parsons the New School for Design. I was born in Korea and was raised in Shanghai, a city where diverse cultures blend. Growing up in such city, my style has been influenced by a variety of cultural characteristics. I mostly enjoy wearing outfits that expose various parts of my personality but I wouldn’t put a label to define my style. I prefer summer clothing since I love wearing light clothes, but I also can’t resist chilling in warm and cozy oversized sweaters in winter (I mean who doesn’t!). I’m currently quite obsessed with off-the-shoulder tops. I think off-the-shoulder tops reveal just the right amount of intrigue, emphasizing the curves of the shoulders. In the photos, I paired the top with a simple necklace and white sneakers. Off-the-shoulder tops always look nice with a pendant necklace or choker.
I’m not into designer labels. I usually shop at small boutiques I pass by on the streets or friendly brands we’ve all heard of such as Forever 21 and Zara. I also adore hunting for the best clothes at thrift stores. Well, there’s my first post! I can’t wait to check out more #RAD posts from others!
