Hi loves, my name is Jess Bowman. I am a junior strategic communications, journalism major at the University of Kansas. I love a good romance novel, short drives in the car blasting tunes and spending majority of my free time on social media. I have always loved reading fashion magazines; my dream job would be to work for one when I graduate college. If that happens, I will die of happiness.
Everyone has their own style. For some, their style might be the entire store of lululemon (which is amazing cause their stuff is comfy and cute), and for others it might be every trendy piece you see fashion influencers wearing on Instagram. I’d say my personal style is boho-chic with a couple trendy moments thrown in. I also follow the college uniform of comfy leggings and t-shirt to class. That is why I love fashion. It’s versatile, fun, and everyone can do it. It’s not something that you have to have professional skills for.
My outfit includes whatever your favorite dress might be. It can be dressed up or down depending on what you want. My favorite Levi Brand Jeans jacket, which yes is a mens jacket–I’m obsessed with the fit. My shoes are killer Rachel Zoe ankle booties that really do kill so if lots of walking is involved, I suggest tennis shoes. I searched literally months for this Cotton On hat that I adore. I topped off my outfit with accessories. My cocktail ring and lace choker both from Forever 21.
