Hello fellow Fashionistas! My name is Jess, and I am a freshman at Kent State University majoring in fashion merchandising. Ever since I can remember, fashion has been what I love and what I have always had an interest in. The way I dress has changed a lot over the years, and I would say my style now is whatever I am feeling that day. Some days I will dress in a fully thrifted outfit, or I will dress like I’m about to take a walk on Rodeo Drive. So, you will be seeing a lot of different inspiration throughout my articles, and I hope you love it.
When I’m not obsessing over the latest fashion trends, you can find me doing a few things. I love reading and writing, singing, binge watching Netflix series, photography, and hanging out with my friends, family, and boyfriend. If I had to choose my two favorite Netflix shows they would have to be the Carrie Diaries and Friends. There is so much fashion inspiration in both shows, and from completely different eras—I love it!
In this look, I wanted something sleek and a bit edgy. Black jeggings are a staple piece in my closet that I can pair with almost anything. So, I paired the black pants with a plain black long sleeve T-shirt, black heeled booties, and a grey sleeveless cardigan. I love this outfit because it is incredibly simple but looks so put together. I chose booties with gold hardware and wore a simple necklace to add some shine. This is one of my favorite outfits that I bet almost anyone could put together in some way or another. I cannot wait to post more and share my fashion ideas with all of you!
