I’m Jess Quinn, an English major studying at Manhattan College with minors in both Communications and Marketing. Fashion has always been a main interest of mine. My favorite stores consist of American Eagle Outfitters, Urban Outfitters and Forever 21. The outfit I’m wearing consists of the fashion items I love the most;scarves, boots, and warm jackets! The fashion icons I look up to are Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift. Â Writing has always been a passion of mine, and CollegeFashionista is a great opportunity for me to demonstrate my skills!
Previously, I’ve worked at the Share for Life Foundation, where I worked in hopes of improving impoverished houses and communities. I also worked at Starbucks for four years, embracing my basicness and understanding the constant desire for pumpkin spice lattes (they’re pretty addictive). I’m also an avid writer for my school’s newspaper, The Quadrangle, where I contribute weekly! I enjoy writing creative pieces that catch my interest, like fashion and entertainment
Writing and fashion are two of my favorite things and it’s such a great opportunity to contribute to such a well-established website! I love reading magazines like Seventeen, InStyle and Glamour because of all of the original styles and stories featured by outstanding writers. Outside of writing, I play tennis, sing and read during whatever spare time I can find! I’m an avid netflix watcher, where I look for new trends in fashion in shows like Gossip Girl, 90210 and Pretty Little Liars. I’m so happy to be contributing to CollegeFashionista, so I can put my writing skills to good use! I can’t wait to intertwine two things I love; fashion and writing!
