Hello Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Jessica Simon, but you can call me Jess because that’s how most of my friends think of me. I am a microbiology/pre-med major with a love of fashion. I am new to the style guru scene, but I am very excited to finally be able to put my enjoyment of blogging to use. For over a year, I have loved posting photos of my outfits and daily activities online on my Instagram and blog. Â Now, I can reach more people on CollegeFashionista than my tiny blog! I love sharing my passion for fashion with people, giving advice on outfits and constantly looking for new trends to follow.
If I had to describe my style, I would say I’m minimalistic and classic while still staying up to date with what is popular. I love basics that will go with everything. White shirts and black pants are wardrobe staples for me. I’ll usually dress my basics up with a cool jacket and shoe. Comfort is always at the top of my list when picking out outfits. If I put together a great outfit, I want to be able to wear it all day. I love my adidas Superstars because they go with everything. And the best part is they have the comfort of a tennis shoe while still being fashionable! I wear leggings most days because they are so comfortable compared to jeans. You can make leggings look as good as pants, if you dress them right!
And here’s a tip: Don’t be afraid to shop in the men’s section! I found this denim jacket in the men’s section of H&M.
