Hello fashion friends! My name is Jilian and I am so excited to be a Style Guru for Drexel University! I am joining this amazing network as a first year design and merchandising student. I have been a long-time subscriber and fan of CollegeFashionista. In fact, it played a major role in helping me decide what major I wanted to study when I got to college. Now that I am about to start a new journey, I am excited the road starts here—back in the place where it all began.
I’d describe my style as bright and daring. I love trying new styles and creating looks that are playful and simple, yet have an element of creativity to them. I’m hope the skills that I learn while being a Style Guru will help me further develop my personal style.
My interest in fashion has allowed me to express myself through an outlet that has no limits. I believe what you wear should always tell something about you. Whether you’re ready to become the next Sophia Amoruso or even the next Amy Levin, it’s important that you express your spirit and your personality through your outfit.
My goal as a Style Guru is to not only inspire others to take a chance and be bold, but to also feel confident in their beautiful self. There is a movement occurring right now all across the world. It’s telling people to love who they are no matter what they look like or size they are. I plan to be one of the loudest voices in the movement that will encourage all people to love the skin they’re in.
