Hello fashion lovers of the world! My name is Jordan Dabney, and the first thing you need to know about me is my love for fashion. My sense of style developed at a young age when I told my mom to let me dress myself. I love fashion so much that I’m choosing to make a career out of it. I’m currently a senior at Savannah College of Art and Design majoring in fashion marketing and management and minoring in business management and entrepreneurship.
Along with fashion, some of my other loves include photography, painting, blogging and, of course, shoes. Collecting shoes is one of my favorite hobbies; I have enough shoes to open up my own shoe store. Another one of my hobbies while I’m at school is walking around the beautiful city of Savannah, Georgia and seeing the different personal styles of individuals. Street style inspires my every day life, and it even inspires me when I’m styling for a school project or a blog post.
In my free time, when I’m not at school or shopping for shoes, I’m acting. In May 2015, I landed my first gig as an extra in the film Dirty Grandpa. I got to star along side Zac Efron and Robert De Niro—it was probably the greatest moment of my life! I was an extra for an Adam Sandler movie called The Do Over in June. In August, I was an extra on the television show Sleepy Hollow. My most recent movie was Gifted starring Chris Evans in October.
In this look, I’m wearing the most comfortable midi dress from Urban Outfitters. It’s a great piece to have and you can dress it up or down; in this case, I dressed it down. I paired it with a denim moto jacket from H&M. You can never go wrong with denim! I’m also wearing Steve Madden booties that go great with any outfit. My accessories include Ray-Ban aviators and Sashka Co. bracelets. These bracelets are hand-made in Nepal and come in so many different colors. They’re the best!
