Hello! My name is Jordan Jones, and I am currently in my junior year at NC State University. I am majoring in communication with a concentration in public relations. This is my second time writing for CollegeFashionista, and I couldn’t be more excited!
Clothes and fashion are a huge part of my life. I look forward to picking out different pieces to create new looks. One of the things that I love about fashion is that the clothes you wear can be a representation of yourself—your interests, hobbies, personality etc. You can learn a lot about a person from what they wear!
I am constantly trying new looks and trends. I am most inspired by the people around me and, of course, social media. Social media is a huge outlet for sharing and exchanging ideas, especially fashion trends. Some of my current favorite trends include: adidas superstar sneakers, denim skirts, fun T-shirts and chokers.
Sneakers have the ability to make any look more casual, and I especially love these adidas superstars because they are so comfortable and versatile. Denim skirts are a must because they can easily dress up any casual look, and they pair very nicely with sneakers. V-necks are a staple in my closet—I have one in any color you can think of. I especially love this V-neck top because it has a looser fit, and the grey color has great dimension. All of our childhood dreams are coming true and, along with denim skirts, chokers are making a comeback. I like to add a choker to a look that could use a little something extra. Chokers can make an edgier statement without detracting from the rest of the outfit.
